Activity: Civil War Excavation
Discover Civil War treasures and artifacts right in our own backyard. Grab some cooking spoons, a toy train, buttons or any other items that may have been used during the Civil War. Hide them in the backyard or various places around the house. Have a blast digging and discovering the little treasures. Research and discuss how similar items may have been used during wartime.
