Georgia is lucky enough to not only have a major league baseball team but to have two minor league teams as well. Take the family out to the ballgame in July, when the teams offer lots of fun extras.

Rome Braves:
To get a more personal – and affordable – baseball experience, go see the Rome Braves play. The single-A team has a Family Fun Day July 13 (four seats, four hotdogs, four soft drinks, four popcorns for $30), Wienie Wednesdays with 50-cent hot dogs,  a Splash Day on the July 16, and a post-game concert by the legendary group, The Tams, on July 26. Tickets range from $4-10. State Mutual Stadium, 755 Braves Blvd., Rome; 706-368-9388; romebraves.com

Gwinnett Braves:
On Wednesdays in July, the Gwinnett Braves will be having Baseball Bingo, which gives fans the chance to win great prizes. Wednesdays are also Guaranteed Win days, and if the team loses, your ticket stub is good for 50 percent off on another Monday-Thursday regular season home game. Two-For Tuesdays give you two tickets for the price of one. And on July 18, you’ll see fireworks after the game. Tickets range from $7.50-$13.50. Coolray Field, 1 Braves Ave., Lawrenceville, 678-277-0300; gwinnettbraves.com

Atlanta Braves:
The team has a lot of cool ongoing activities like Friday Night Fireworks, Alumni Sunday where former players sign autographs before the game, and the Kids Run the Bases activity before Sunday home games. Tickets range from $6-$74. Turner Field, 755 Hank Aaron Dr., Atlanta; 4040-522-7630; atlantabraves.com
